Season Finale: A Happy Ending?

I never understood why it is called Shaman King if no one gets crowned, I guess the title shows the main idea of the series and sets the mood for the book. They also make it a little obvious who WAS going to get crowned. If it didn't end the way it did, a person would have known from the beginning that it was going to be Yoh Asakura who was going to get crowned. If the fights got down to one-on-one, they were probably gonna pick off the weak characters first, like Chocolove, even though he is a strong shaman. They would have had the friends fight each other until it got down to Ren & Yoh, because I doubt they would have Ren defeated that easily. I guess they just didn't want Yoh to fight his friends. Besides, my favorite character is Tao Ren, and I was wanting him to win even though Yoh is a good guy and has good intentions. Besides, you can't help on who you want to win.
