Background

Shaman King was created & drawn by Hiroyuki Takei. He made his debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997 with Butsu Zone. Shaman King debuted in 1998. Shaman King was such a big hit it was made into an anime TV series with 64 episodes and 4 specials. Shaman King is a multicultural manga with characters from countries such as China, England, France, America, Italy, and Germany. Yes, this is a very unique manga and anime with a lot of puns and jokes (that I have both read and heard), some of which are hilarious, and some of them I just plain don't understand.
