Pointless Cuts & Snippets

Pointless cuts and snippets: they're everywhere! Like little cockroaches. They shorten scenes & cut out great puns like Ren's 33 obsession, although that isn't a pun. I have noticed that scenes have been shortened from like, 5 seconds to 2 seconds, or have 10 or more seconds of important scenes and dialogue removed completely. On the other hand, some scenes are extended. For example: in some TMM episode, Pie (aka: Sardon) put his hand in a stream for about, eh....., (I'm just gonna take wild guesses on the times) 2 seconds, and the scene is extended to about 4 seconds. What is the point anyways?
