Name Changes

I'm just glad Yoh and Amidamaru keep their original names and aren't changed to something like "Fred" or "Bill". Of course I suppose Amidamaru, Mosuke, Tokagero, and most of  those ancient spirits & ghosts (especially Amidamaru, Mosuke, & Tokagero) have to keep their original names because I doubt 4Kids could think of good, creative  names to fit their time era and country. Name changes like Horohoro to Trey Racer, or Hao to Zeke really make me mad. I don't like them and I never will. Horohoro's new name Trey is pretty good but I hate the last name Racer.

Shaman King name changes: Horokeu Usui-Trey Racer, Ren Tao-Len Tao, Morphine-Chloe, Ryu-Rio, and many others, but I cannot name them all.

Tokyo Mew Mew's dub names aren't to die for either. 4Kids renamed Tokyo Mew Mew to "Hollywood Mew Mew" or "Mew Mew Power" O Freakin Joy. Ichigo Momomiya has been changed to "Zoey Hanson", Lettuce (or Retasu) Midorikawa has been changed to "Bridget Cordet", Mint (or Minto) Aizawa has been changed to "Corina Bucksworth", Zakuro Fujiwara has been changed to "Renee Roberts", Pudding (or Purin) Fong has been changed to Kikki Benjamin.  Kish (or Kishuu) has been changed to "Dren" (I condemn that name to Hades!!! It turns out that "Dren" is "Nerd" backwards!! It's an insult!), *ahem*, Ryou Shirogane has been changed to "Elliot Grant", Keiichiro Asasaka has been changed to Wesley J. Coolridge III *shudders*, Pie (or Pai) has been changed to "Sardon", Tart (or Tartu) has been changed to "Tarb". Omigosh that was long *keels over from exhaustion*. 

For those who don't know, Ichigo is Japanese for strawberry, Zakuro means pomegranate, Retasu means Lettuce. Purin, Minto, Kisshu, Pai, and Tartu are also the Japanese forms of Pudding, Mint, Pie and Tart.

The dub calls the aliens Cyniclons. Nooooo Thank You! It was fine when they were just known as "the aliens".

If I owned Tokyo Mew Mew or Shaman King, I would not have sold the rights to 4Kids Entertainment and have then butcher my show by messing up it originality. Now, this has nothing to do with name changes, I don't even know why I have it in this category, but if I owned Tokyo Mew Mew I would have had Kish have Ichigo instead of Ichigo staying with a one-dimensional imbecile such as Masaya. Dub Masaya is a total jerk, he always seems to be bragging about himself in some way, that's probably why I think Ichigo should have been with our dear Kish (even though Kish is a bit perverted), and the reason that I dislike Aoyama. I had seen the dubbed series before I saw the original manga's. In the manga he seems more caring than the self-absorbed jerk the dub makes him out to be. Yeah, I'm a big Kish fan. Oh! I almost forgot: Masaya Aoyama has been changed to "Mark ______ (I don't think that the dub gave him a last name)".
