Episode 26

Big America

Yoh & friends arrive in America. The dub calls America the Western Desert. Yup, nothing else, just the Western Desert. Ren is extremely upset that his plane has been destroyed, because he now has 32 instead of 33. For anyone who does not know, but I think that every SK fan knows this amusing little fact: Ren has an obsession with the number 3. Why this is I don't know. 

The Lilly5 are [fully?] introduced in this episode. Sharona, Ellie, Millie, Sally, and Lilly are sitting on a plateau eating a box lunch, and talking about how they failed in their attempt to get rid of Yoh & Co. Sharona tends to throw out random French phrases with a strong American accent in the dub. The conversation between the Lilly5 is changed for the dub, but the fact they were bickering like children remained the same.

Quote from the dub version:

Lilly: Our adversaries are alive and well. I'm afraid that your strategy to incapacitate them has failed Sharona. 

Sharona: How truly disappointing. *blows smoke which turns into her spirit ally Enra Enra (Enla for the dub)* I was sure that the plan was completely foolproof: sending little pixie in to sabotage their engines. Alas, those boys are persistent. 

Ellie: Oh, totally. They're like blackheads that won't go away.

Millie: Ellie and I couldn't get rid of them either.

Lilly: Perhaps your just efficacious. 

 Ellie: What does that mean?!

 Lilly: Nothing. 

Ellie: It is so totally rude to use big words that normal people don't know! It's no wonder that you were voted least popular back in middle school. Your lucky that we even brought you along.                                     

 Millie: Yup. So true. 

Lilly: Well, at least I was voted for something. I can't say the same for other people. 

Ellie: That little brat Judy rigged the vote! 

Mille: Hey! You promised not to tell! 

Ellie: *quotes mockingly* "And the best dressed goes to Judy..."

*incoherent bickering*

Yeah...there it is for ya.
